She Said Yes!!!

She said yes, and that she is ME!!!! That’s right, my boyfriend of two years popped the question a week ago and I’ve been on cloud nine ever since! I can’t believe that I’M ENGAGED!!!!

K & I have talked about marriage for a little while and he said that he would propose before the end of the year, so I knew that eventually it would be coming. But after our recent vacation to Los Angeles when it didn’t happen then, I hadn’t really thought about it and just figured that it would happen sooner or later.

Long story short, he had mentioned that we had plans to meet friends for dinner the night before the 4th of July since we hadn’t seen each other in awhile. And to be honest I wasn’t in the best mood that day so I hadn’t expected a thing. After dinner was over while we all waited for our checks, the waiter brought out cupcakes and I didn’t remember anyone ordering dessert and thought to myself since when did Kona Grill start selling cupcakes.

And just at that moment while he sat on the opposite end of the table from me he explained that the dinner wasn’t to just catch up with friends but it was to see if I would also marry him. With the ring in his hand he came to my side of the table, got down on one knee and asked again “will you marry me“!! I was completly shocked and asked a bunch of times if he was serious or if it was a joke. Everyone assured me that everything was really real and they all told me to give him an answer and of course I SAID YES!!!

Since we’ve decided that we’d both like to have a destination wedding in 2013 the wedding planning has slowly begun.
